Aedas Architects (Final Resolutions)

The Aedas architects brief was another quick turn around. However this time i am very pleased with the final outcomes. A lot of attention and development went into the logo so im very impressed with how it looks printed on the stationary sets. The colour pallet - again single colour really does work and fits well with the subject matter.

The type and layout across the full stationary set range works well for me. Im really like th typeface which i used as a part of both the logo and type in the set.
The orange and black work well together and do not fight for attention from the viewer.

Aedas Architects (Stationary Set)

Finally. The stationary set is complete with the letterheads and compliment slips both attached below. Im fairly pleased with these resolutions. The layout took some experimentation but i got there in the end. Again - same as with the business cards, i decided to use some black type. It works well and sets a balance to each piece. Next choice is stocks. For the business cards, letterheads and compliment slips.

Below is the final resolution for the business card. Im once again very pleased with the final outcome of this design. The logo sits well in the format that i have used for the business card. And i think that the design will blend across all 3 areas of the stationary set. The colour pallet works for me. The orange is complimented by the white stock and the black type adds to the impact.

Aedas Architects (Final Logo)

So here it is. My final resolution for the Aedas Architects identity.
Im very pleased with the final outcome. I feel it works for the brand it promotes. The structure created i also think works well. The colour pallet worked for me, and the vibrant look catches the eye. Which will work well for the business cards - and the rest of the stationary set.

Next job:

  • Compliment Slips
  • Letterheads
  • Client Pack

Aedas Architects (Development) 2

From the last post the identity took a new direction. I wanted to play with symetrical shapes, however i found this difficult at first. Some of the designs below i really do like (Top left) however i do not feel they compliment the business and that architecture has a lot more to offer me as a designer to play with. The top right and bottom right designs are heading in the direction i most like. The shapes flow and create a structure themselves. A little bit more development and i feel i maybe there.

Aedas Architects (Development)

Aedas Architects is in need of an identity. Originally i started by designing a logo for One Stop Architects - however it wasn't working. The name was too big to do what i wanted. So i found another company (Aedas) and the rest is history.
I still found this process useful because it had already set me in a direction the work is taking. The colour pallet is what i started designing with and well, i kinda like it. Ohter identities i have produced for this module have very flat colour pallets, i want to try something a little different with this one.
